Question:
Thank you all for your tremendously informative videos on these jacks. My question is: On the 3500-pound rated jack and the 5000-pound rated jack, is the bolt spacing the same? Im talking about the 3 triangular bolts on the A- frame. Many times, bolt spacing is slightly different for a heavier duty jack versus the lighter duty jack. Thank you, Steve

Hello Steve,
Thanks for writing in, and I'm glad you're enjoying our videos.
Yes, both the 3,500 lb etrailer Electric Trailer Jack # e22QV and the 5,000 lb version # e82QV use the same standard A-frame mounting bolt pattern, so the three mounting holes will line up the same on both jacks. Most of the time the 3,500 is more than enough, if you are using a weight distribution hitch I suggest going with the beefier 5K so help with the install.
Both come with the mounting hardware needed for installation, so if your trailer already has the standard A-frame bolt pattern, replacing your existing jack will be pretty straightforward. Both also plug directly into your tow vehicle's 7-way connector for power.
What kind of trailer are you putting this on? What kind of jack are you replacing?

Thank you for your information. We have a crank up jack now rated at 3500#. Our trailer is a 19' Bullet camper, single axle. We just wish to replace the jack to have the ease of the electric lift and a little more heavier duty jack. Thanks again for your help, Steve
