Hook up, check tongue weight, and get on the road with fewer steps. This kit pairs a 3,500 lb electric trailer jack with a jack foot tongue weight scale, letting you lift your trailer and verify the load during the same hitching process.

Highlights

  • Push Button Lifting: 3,500 lb electric jack raises and lowers your trailer through your vehicle's 7-way connection.
  • Check Tongue Weight While You Load: Jack foot scale reads up to 2,000 lbs in 50 lb increments without setting up a separate scale.
  • Adjust Cargo Before You Tow: Check the reading, move cargo, and check again while the trailer is still supported by the jack.
  • Drop Leg Adds Reach: Extends up to 9-3/4" in 2" increments to reduce jack travel during setup.
  • Protected for Weather: E-coat, matte black powder coat, waterproof motor cover, and sealed switches help protect the jack.
  • Large Analog Gauge: Reads tongue weight up to 2,000 lbs in 50 lb increments for quick checks before you tow.

Features to know about

Check, Adjust, and Hitch Up

When you're getting ready to tow, it's hard to know if your trailer's tongue weight is right just by looking at it. Lower your trailer onto the gauge while it's still on your jack, see where the weight stands, move your gear if needed, and check it again before you hitch up. Because the scale replaces your jack foot, there's no separate tongue weight scale to deal with every time you check your load. Four mounting positions let you rotate the gauge toward the side that' easiest to read. If you use your trailer on gravel, grass, or other soft surfaces, the scale also works with the 6" Round SnapPad (SN47FR - sold separately) to help keep the jack from sinking.

Push Button Lifting

The 12V motor raises and lowers your trailer through your vehicle's 7-way connection with the push of a switch instead of a manual crank. The drop leg extends up to 9-3/4" and adjusts in 2" increments, helping you get closer to the ground before using the motor. A built-in LED lights your coupler when you're hitching up before sunrise or after dark, and the included manual backup crank keeps the jack usable if electrical power isn't available.

Ready for the Weather

Moisture takes a toll on trailer jacks, so this one uses protective coatings and sealed electrical components to help limit damage over time. The jack's outer tube is made of steel with an e-coat and black powder coat, while the inner tube is made of white zinc plated steel to help resist rust. A waterproof motor housing and rubber-sealed switches help protect the electrical components from moisture.

Important 7-Way Power Information

This jack operates through your vehicle's 7-way connector. Many 2015 and newer Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a smart 7-way may limit the available current until the trailer is detected and other operating conditions are met. That managed circuit is not intended to power a high draw jack motor. This condition is commonly associated with Ford factory tow packages, including the Trailer Tow Package and Max Trailer Tow Package. If you want to verify that your vehicle-side connector is supplying proper power, see our help article: Testing a Vehicle Side 7-Way Trailer Connector for Proper Function.

Great replacement for my 25ft travel trailer. Installation was pretty easy. Ground wire could be longer (why not same length as power wire?)

by:

I got the jack installed with no problems. Very simple wiring, especially since it went on a dump trailer which has power readily available. Works like a charm. Glad there will be no more cranking of a jack handle.

by:

The FACTORY one did not have a ground wire on it. I’ll like the fact that the replacement did the only question I have is what type of fuse should I be using on it? I noticed the original which wire in directly to the battery with no fuse, I went ahead and put a 25 amp fuse on it, but it works great.

by:

Works great. Have used it for a year now. It is installed on a 2018 rockwood roo 233s there is plenty of clearance for the fold out bunk. I can also still open my tailgate with the trailer on the hitch.

by:

Jack worked pretty good. Install was easy like a bag to cover. Hopefully you sell future bags.

by:

We have larger propane tanks so the short crank doesn't work. We used our larger crank and it cranks a lot harder than the lippert that came with the
camper. The installation was fairly easy and it came with a cover which we like. We didn't know we needed one on our first trailer jack. Figured thats what burned it out!

by:

etrailer 3500 lbs electric jack arrived in a timely manner and well packed. Installation was super easy with plain and simple instructions. I mounted this on a Jayco Jay Flight 195RB which is a lightweight travel trailer. The only negative I have discovered is this electric jack is extremely slow. But in this price range I am very happy with my purchase.

Had all the necessary hardware needed for install on a 20 year old trailer.Had to drill old bolts out due to bolts breaking then used the hardware supplied to secure the a frame jack to the trailer. Had to adapt and overcome the wiring connector was too small for battery top post connector but made work. Picks the camper up with ease thank you e trailer

by:

Loved the steps taken from start to finish with the updates who had contact with the product and its journey to me which was very quick. It came well packaged and was easy to install. The jack itself is smooth and not very load even under a load unlike similar jacks from other brands. 10/10 would recommend this to friends and family.

by:

Jack and weight scale are great, very useful combination. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because the ground wire is significantly shorter than the positive wire. I was able to run the positive wire back to my 12V terminal block under the chassis however, the ground wire is far too short to run back under the chassis and connect to an existing chassis ground. So, I had to drill a new chassis ground near the A-frame, which was annoying.

by:

Electric jack arrived in two days. Old jack sheard so couldn’t get the trailer off the truck so the arrival of the new jack was very timely. Install was easier than expected. I’m not the most electrical savy person, but once I removed the ground to the jack there was no power so cutting and splicing in the new power went smooth. Just wish the new jack had the 12awg splices included. Would have saved me a trip to the hardware store. Would have been a real problem if I had to do this on the road.

by:

Exactly as advertised, and was easy to install. I used this to replace the old FIC one that came on the trailer and no longer worked. This e-trailer one has a thicker / sturdier base than the FIC one, and was easy to install. It came well-packaged, and in perfect condition. I like that it came with a cover, and high quality copper wires. I did have to re-use the old bolts because I have a bike rack and the bolts that came with it were too short to go through both, but that's not really an issue with the jack itself. The motor runs smoothly and the light works - I could see it in daylight when I tested it. I would definitely recommend this to others.

by:

Just installed it. Jack went on fine, bolt holes matched my 20’ Haulmark enclosed trailer exactly. I had to run power to the battery, and that took the longest.once connected, lifted the trailer right off my floor jack. Now I just need to tuck and zip tie wires.

by:

I bought a jack a little over than a year ago at a tool supply store and it went bad. I hated the jack because it did allow the tailgate to come down. I installed this new jack from E Trailer and my tailgate extends all the way down. This is excellent to get into the bed during camping setup or tearing down. More companies need to design their jacks according.

by:

Brittany was a great help to find ensure the product I selected was compatible with my trailer. We checked the stroke an capacity, discussed installation. The e trailer brand jack I chose arrived the next day, was easy to install and it worked. I'm still looking forward to using it "on the road" but have confidence there will be no issues.

by:

E Jack is a great conversion. I didn't put a battery on trailer to run it. I simply used RV flat pin receptacle and used ground and power post, runs jack fine and you do not need vehicle running to use jack

by:

Bold holes lined up on my Winnebago Minnie 2500rl perfectly. Received unit, mid day, mounted, and did electrical all in the same day. I also like having the internal circuit breaker rather than a "burn out" fuse. Storage cover is a nice touch too.

by:

Received it today and it was an easy install. The jack seems very sturdy and easily lifted the 1200 lb. trailer tongue. I used the tongue weight scale, which was very easy to put on and take off. The weight display gauge was easily readable. The jack is a compact design and, with the weather cover, seems like it will be well protected from bad weather.

by:

I was assisted in a chat session on a Sunday afternoon. I gave the representative the model number of unit that had to be replaced and in less than a minute was told that this unit is an exact replacement. I immediately ordered it and it was shipped that same day. The the e23ZV is a perfect replacement for the Jayco Jay Feather Micro 199MBS. Fits nicely under the tongue mounted bike rack. I already installed it and it performs perfectly.

by:

Fast shipping, easy install, works great

I really like my new electric jack. I got the 3500lb capacity which matches my oem jack. Iwas going to get the 5k but i decided to stick with the 3500lb. And i have been happy so far. I have a ST2916 stryker toy hauler. The tounge weight can get close up to 2k lbs. The jack handles my application like a champ. I usually have to lift the jack high enough to facilitate the install of the stabilizer bar, so it essentially starts raising the truck a bit. No issues so far. It actually actuates faster than the 3500lb lippert oem jack I previously had on. I like how it has an extension at the foot. It's very practical. I also like how the toggle switches are located near the top of the jack. My lippert oem has the toggle switches on the front of the jack facing the tail gate. I had to be careful not to hit or bump into the toggle switch as I moved/jump over to the other side. I did end up breaking toggle switch once becausei bumped into it. That was an expensive fix.i don't have to worry about that now.
The only con that I can think of is that the trailer does seems shake a bit as I'm retracting or lowering the trailer. At least more than I'm accustomed to, but it hasn't been an issue so far.
So far I'm happy with the jack.

by:

Jack is plenty good, seems well designed and built plus the cover actually feels heavy duty compared to others. Installed on a race trailer since we had a battery in it for the winch so why not. Welded a piece of 6" C channel into the A of the tongue close to the body so the truck tailgate would clear it. Drilled the holes out further than typical so didn't have the mounting problems others had with washers not sitting flat. The reason for the 4 stars is why in heaven's name the ground wire couldn't have been the same length as the power wire to reach a battery without soldering in an extension?!? Not a show stopper but geez- I'd have paid the extra buck for 2 more feet of wire. For anyone reading this and wondering no, I purposely did not ground the battery to the trailer, less problems going direct to the battery for high-draw stuff.

by:

Installation was a breeze and so far it is working as advertised. Very happy with the product

by:

This jack install was quick & easy. I like that the hardware includes plastic inserts lock nuts, needed or not, I used them. My 25 Expedition doesn't provide enough amps without putting truck electronics in jeopardy. I'm not interested in having an on-board trailer battery, so I wired up connections for a jump starter. Works like a charm numerous times on single charge. I have EXACTLY the setup I was aiming for. Love this jack!

by:

Superb! Operates nice and quiet compared to my factory model. Installation was a breeze. Price was amazing. I do encourage others to get one, because it operates smooth and quiet. The smaller design over the factory one allows more space for the tailgate operation as well.

Hi Nolan! You don't need a 6,000 lb jack just because your trailer weighs 6,000 lbs. The etrailer Electric Trailer Jack # e72QV is lifting the tongue of the trailer, not the entire trailer weight. The 3,500 lb capacity is more than enough for your loaded tongue weight.
