Question:
My ETBC7Ls 7-flat socket had the 12v blade corrode away. I now know that I should have been putting dielectric grease on it. Is it possible to get just a replacement 7-flat socket that will fit this?

Hey Karl, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can get a replacement for the 7-way socket that came with the # ETBC7L kit. For that you'll need the following:
- Buyers Products Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way to 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # 337TC1474P
I also recommend grabbing a tube of Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to keep it protected.
What kind of vehicle is this going on?

Thanks for the information. I had already been looking at #11755 as the likely replacement, so I'm happy to have that confirmed. This had been installed on a 2022 Toyota RAV-4 Prime, and had been working fine until this point. One more question: Could the corrosion have been facilitated by the fact that the 12V blade is always "live". Would adding a switch for the 12V power to be connector be worth the trouble?
