Question:
Hello, I am interested in installing this hitch in my 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid. Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Part Number: C13397 Can you please share with me the dimensions of distance between the fastening holes that hold the hitch to the vehicle? There are two on each side of the hitch, what is the distance between them? I want to confirm the holes in my vehicle match and will align with the hitch. Thank you

Hey Carlos, the distance between the mounting holes from left to right on the Curt trailer hitch part # C13397 is 37-1/4 inches. This is for sure a confirmed fit for your 2026 Honda CR-V though and you shouldn't have to verify measurements to feel confident it will work for you. Are you planning on doing some towing?

I bought the Curt hitch designated for my 2026 Honda CRV Sport hybrid and had it installed by my favorite local mechanic. There were no problems with the installation and it works just fine. I installed the electrical line for the trailer lights myself. It was pretty easy, as Honda has already provided the plug. It was up a bit higher and more toward the back than I thought, but was easy to connect once I found it. Don’t forget to add the fuse to the panel in the driver’s side footwell.

The dimensions were given above. Just to add my two cents. I installed on my 2026 CRV in about an hour and a half. No problems whatsoever!!
