Flat Tow Setup for 2022 Grand Wagoneer

Looking to flat tow my 2022 Grand Wagoneer series III 4x4 Need the correct tow bar, plate, brake system. I have air brakes but think the way to go is more universal set up, I dont mind seeing up the brake box unit, but it does mention needing to calibrate everytime you tow. Is that a pain or no big deal really. Thank you, part numbers, ect. Think blue ox works for me but whichever would work best, tow vehicle is a Prevost

Hey Timothy! We can definitely get you the parts you need to flat tow your 2022 Grand Wagoneer. For a Blue Ox setup I recommend the following:
-Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU66XR (If you DO NOT have tow hooks)
-Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU46CR (If you DO have tow hooks)
-Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar # BLU28QV (Includes safety cables)
-Blue Ox Universal Tow Bar Cover # BLU53QV (Optional)
-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267
-Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Air Brakes # DM26VR
For the wiring I would use the Roadmaster over other brands since it is the most reliable. Then for the brake system, the Air Force One is the best option since you have air brakes. This does not require any kind of setup or calibration after the initial installation so you'll be ready to go once you hook everything up. The Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR is also compatible if you would rather have the portable unit.
You may also need a high-low adapter like # e52ZV to keep your setup level. I went ahead and attached a help article further down on this page which explains how to measure and choose the right adapter.
If you have tow hooks and use the # BLU46CR the bracket height is 18" and without tow hooks # BLU66XR has a bracket height of 23". The only thing you will need to measure is your motorhome hitch from the ground to the centerline to find the height difference.
Also, make sure to check with your dealer to see if the MOPAR RV towing wiring harness kit #82216418AA is required for your Wagoneer for flat towing.
