Question:

I own a 2014 Ford E350 van, I would like to install trailer wiring that includes a power brake controller. I have watched youtube videos showing the wiring connecting to a female plug in the dashboard. Please provide me with the setup I need to install the trailer wiring with power brakes, Thanks Frank

Hey Frank, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we do have exactly what you need to add trailer wiring and a brake controller to your 2014 Ford E350 van. Here is what you'll need:

- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56020

- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7

Those two kits combined contain everything you need to wire the van with a 4-flat/7-way combo, including all of the necessary wires for a brake controller. For the brake controller I recommend the Redarc # RED52VR. It installs behind the dash and give you fully proportional braking. It'll install using the included 4-wire pigtail.

I've included links to some install videos you should find helpful.

What kind of trailer will you be hauling?

Frank, this is the second Etrailer wiring system I have installed. Both times I found everything to be in order, installation went as per instructions & the video, and everything works.
