This TowSmart hitch opens up your vehicle to a lot more possibilities. With a 2" x 2" receiver opening, it’s set up for most bike racks, cargo carriers, and small trailers. Rated as a Class III hitch, it handles up to 4,500 lbs of gross trailer weight and 675 lbs of tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, that capacity increases to 5,000 lbs GTW and 500 lbs TW. It’s strong enough for light to moderate towing or for carrying gear when heading out on a trip.
The fully welded carbon steel construction keeps the hitch sturdy and dependable under load. The instructions and install hardware should be in a plastic bag that's stuffed into the receiver opening. If it's not there, please call our Customer Service folks at 800-298-8924 and they'll get you fixed up!
