Question:

I have a 2008 ram 3500 srw 2wd that I installed a set of airlift airbags. Im thinking about adding the Hellwig Big Wig Rear Anti-Sway Bar - 1-5/16 Diameter Part Number: HE32RR but I wanted to see if theres any known clearance issues.

Hi Raymond,

Yes, you can absolutely add a Hellwig Big Wig rear anti sway bar to your 2008 Ram 3500 SRW 2WD with Air Lift airbags. I confirmed with Hellwig that there are no known clearance issues between the Big Wig sway bars and Air Lift air bag systems because they mount in different locations on the truck. If you have the diesel engine, you'll want the Hellwig Big Wig Rear Anti Sway Bar, Part # HE92RR. If you have the gas engine, the correct part is # HE32RR.

The airbags and the rear sway bar actually complement each other really well. The airbags help support the load and keep the truck level, while the Big Wig sway bar helps reduce body roll and gives the truck a much more planted, stable feel when you're carrying weight or towing. Hellwig has a great reputation for building heavy duty suspension components, and this is a combination that works very well.

Out of curiosity, what do you usually haul with your Ram now that you've added the airbags, a camper, a heavy trailer, or something else?
