Features to know about

Cools Efficiently Without the Noise: Dual-Motor Design

This 13,500 Btu Furrion Chill HE rooftop unit keeps your interior cool without the loud drone typical of older models. Two motors drive separate fans to move air faster and more efficiently while rubber dampeners on the compressor absorb vibrations. The result is reliable cooling with less noise and smoother operation, even when the temperature outside climbs.

Keeps Running When Power Is Limited: Built-In Start Capacitor

Low campsite voltage or small generators don’t have to stop you from getting cool air. The built-in start capacitor gives the compressor an extra boost when the power source can’t quite deliver enough current. It stores that energy for the next startup so you won’t trip breakers or wait for things to recharge before you can chill out again.

Simple Retrofit for Existing Setups: Fits Standard 14" × 14" Roof Opening

Swapping out an old rooftop unit is straightforward. The FR26PR fits the common 14" × 14" roof opening used across most setups, so you don’t need to cut or modify the roof. It bolts directly in place and connects to your existing Furrion system for a clean installation. It’s also compatible with ducted or non-ducted layouts, giving you flexibility in how you set up airflow inside.

Built to Handle Life Outdoors: Durable, Weather-Resistant Construction

The UV-resistant white cover protects internal components from water and debris while maintaining a clean look on your roof. Inside, EPP foam housing resists moisture and chemicals, and built-in thermal insulation helps prevent motors from overheating. With a 76-lb total weight and an outdoor sound pressure level of 80 dB, it balances power with manageable size and toughness for long seasons on the road.

Comfort That Lasts: High Efficiency and Reliable Components

An energy efficiency ratio of 7.1 and a running power draw of 11.2 amps keep performance steady without straining your electrical system. Using R410A refrigerant, the unit provides dependable cooling hour after hour, backed by a 2-year warranty for confidence in every trip.

Called etrailer twice on this scratched used furring chill ac. Only 1 picture shows the box all torn up with a big scratch on the top cover. I told myself for the price nobody see the top of my ac unit, so I took a chance and ordered it. It was delivered in a few days, box all taped up. When I opened the box it did not have the big scratch on the the top but the whole cover was broken off. All the plastic ears holding the upper half of the cover busted off just held by the front screws. I was worried about the inside part of the ac. So I inspected that portion and seemed to be untouched. Priced a new cover at $[XX], said no way I could have bought brand new for that. So I fabricated new ears and screwed the cover on that had no scratches by the way. Installed ac and works great for now. I guess it’s not a bad gamble for a brand new unit. It was a chance on a returned item. After all said and done probably should have been disclosed better with more pictures and priced a little lower. I got lucky. ETRAILER has always been good to me on my previous orders. I’m glad this worked out should have taken pictures but got caught up fixing it first.

Thanks

Bolted right in place and as we haven’t pulled the class c out of the shop inside it’s cooling and blowing a lot better.

Excellent customer service. Communication was spot on. Tracking app was the best I’ve seen. Product produced as needed. 2 days on a 100 pound product.
Finally a true 10/10. Thanks.

by:

Excellent unit, the easy start feature allows to run 2 ACs on 30 amp sites. Not 5 stars because slightly noisier than others.

Package showed up earlier than expected. Packing was right and no damage from shipping. The extra box for wiring harness, metal brackets, and mounting bolts was complete. I haven't installed yet. This was just a review on proper packing, no damages, completeness of all components. Great job!

by:

Straightforward install, works great!

by:

Very helpful staff answered all my questions and very responsive.

by:

Installed this unit in about an hour. True plug and play!! I had to use different holes in the bracket inside, but fit perfect. The only challenge I had for being 63 years old is getting it on the roof and the old unit down. The John Deere with front end loader with forks and a pallet did the trick! Thanks to my wife who is always ready to dial 911!! Thanks to Alyssa J for your help with the purchase. Also, the Dometic distribution box and thermostat worked with the Furrion.

by:

Delivered when promised. Excellent price compared to others. Installation was straight forward and quite easy with help from a friend. Working perfectly.

  • Replacement AC for Old Dometic Duo-Therm
Hi Jerry; until recently I would have said yes, the ASA86YR or ASA99YR will plug right into your Dometic setup making for a simple installation. We have started to run into compatibility issues with certain Dometic models and Advent Air doesn't seem to know what is compatible anymore. They have also stated their AC unit may burn up your air distribution box which would leave you replacing the entire system. It is for that reason that I recommend replacing your Dometic AC with Furrion....

  • Replacement Condenser Units For A Dometic DuoTherm Two Unit System
Hey Bradley, If you're just wanting to replace the rooftop units and keep your current air distribution boxes and thermostat then you'll just need to check the wiring to determine if you have a 6-pin or 9-pin connector. If you remove the air distribution cover you should be able to look up and see the wire harness hanging down from the rooftop condenser unit and plugged into the controller. If you don't see it then Dometic probably mounted it inside the rooftop condenser unit and you'll...

  • Replacement AC Options For A 1999 Fleetwood Prowler
Hey Jeffrey, There isn't a guide to tell us what your motorhome has installed on it but you can remove the shroud on the rooftop unit to look for the manufacturer sticker that lists the model number and BTU rating. You'll also need to remove the cover to the air distribution box inside the motorhome and look for the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop unit and plugs into the controller to see if you have a 6-pin or 9-pin connector. I have the following recommendations based...

  • Is The Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit Available Aftermarket?
Hello Doug, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Chill Cube AC is not available quite yet. When we last heard from Furrion, they were expecting them to be available for the aftermarket by the end of 2024. We were told that the Chill Cube units were OEM only and they are still working on producing enough stock to go aftermarket.

  • Replacement Air Conditioner for a Dometic Duo Therm 600315.331
Yes, it will Phil. However, you'll also need to replace your air distribution box. The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit for Furrion Setup item # FR26PR is just the AC unit that sits on the roof. It's not going to work with your Duo Therm's air box, which has the controls. I recommend getting the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu item # FR95TD. This is a complete ac system that has everything you need to replace your Dometic. It also has...

  • Recommended Soft Start for a Furrion Chill HE Air Conditioner Unit
Hey Richard, thanks for the information. It looks like you have a Furrion Chill HE Air Conditioner Unit like item # FR26PR. To add a soft start to it you'll need the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup - Qty 1 item # SSR54FR. This is a standalone unit you install inline with the AC unit. I have attached the wiring diagram below so you can see how to get it set up. What region are you using your AC in and have you cleaned off the vents recently?

  • Recommended Replacement For A Dometic Duo-Therm AC Unit Model # 80611342
Your Dometic model number 80611342 came back as a 13,500BTU unit so the only other information we'll need to know is the what style connector your unit has. Dometic units will either come with a 6-pin or 9-pin connector (pictured below). The units we currently offer only come with a 6-pin connector so you'll need an adapter if your current unit had a 9-pin. To find this you'll need to remove the cover of your air distribution box and find the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop...

  • Will Furrion FR26PR Work With FACR14SA-BL Distribution Box?
Hello Jim, thanks for reaching out. To answer your question, yes, the Furrion # FR26PR AC unit will work and bolt up to your existing FACR14SA-BL indoor unit. The # FR26PR uses the old r410a refrigerant so it will be compatible. The newer R32 units would not be backwards compatible with your old AC system, so using one of those would require you to swap out the whole AC system, rooftop unit, distribution box, controller and thermostat. That said, the r410a units are being discontinued....

  • Can I Upgrade The Thermostat In My 2015 Cruise Lite 26’
Hello Wayne, thanks for reaching out. It may be possible to swap out the thermostat in your 2015 Cruise Lite 26', but the available options will depend on what brand of AC unit you have currently. There is no way to look this up so I will need you to confirm the brand. For example, if you have a Furrion brand AC, you could switch to their Premium Wall Thermostat # FR33PR. This has 4 operation modes and 2 different fan speeds. This will only work with the Furrion Chill HE Aid Conditioners...

Hey Ken, the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit for Furrion Setup - 13,500 Btu - White # FR26PR has a built-in capacitor to make startup easier, therefore it won't benefit from having an additional soft start added. It's already in there and ready to go! Do you already have this ac unit or are you just browsing? Keep in mind it's just the unit itself and on the whole system. And it's the older refrigerant style R410A. Now days all the new units/systems use the modern...

Hey Jeff, There are Advent Air kits with just the rooftop unit or the whole setup with the air distribution box included. We've recently run into some compatibility issues with certain Dometic models so I do not recommend using any Advent Air rooftop units unless you plan on also replacing the entire system with all Advent Air equipment. • Troubleshooting Furrion Thermostat Temperature Reading FACW12SA-BL
Regarding your Furrion FACW12SA-BL (DISCONTINUED) wall thermostat, this is a common observation, as the temperature sensor is in the ceiling with the air distribution box. When using the air conditioner, leave the fan on at least low to keep your interior air being drawn into the box and being measured by the temperature sensor in there. This will help the thermostat to display the true temperature, and to cycle the compressor on and off as needed more accurately.

We just need to figure out whether your existing AC has a 6 pin or 9 pin connector first. • What Air Conditioner 13,500 BTU Will Replace My Current Dometic Air Conditioner?
Hello Roy, You will need a whole new set-up. I am sure that is not the answer you were hoping for, but I have a great explanation. The Air Conditioner refrigerant went from the R410a to the R32 this year. The new R32 is much more efficient making it a win win for the environment and the consumer. The downfall to this change is that your old R410a parts are not compatible with the new R32 parts which is why you will need a new set-up. - For Muti Zone: Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner...
