Question:
Hello, Ive got the Curt C36PQ connector for my 2017 Lexus RX 350 without the tow package. Your videos and instructions are helpful but dont go over much detail on connecting the converter ground wire. Can you identify the best location for attaching it. I'm worried about doing it wrong and messing up the car electrical system. I included photos of the area. Thank you

Hey Bob. To install the ground on the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C36PQ you'll want to find a flat metal spot near the converter. You can take a wire brush and clear away the paint to ensure you reach bare metal. Then you'll want to use the included self tapping screw to firmly attach the ground.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C36PQ is confirmed to fit a 2017 Lexus RX 350 without the factory tow package.
What kind of trailer do you have or are you using the wiring harness to light up an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier?

Yes I agree with above. There was a sheet metal screw in the plug and I just attached the ground to the metal in the inside rear compartment. No problems. Also the curt hitch was good but required some drill hole adjustment because the weld was out of square.
