Hey Perry, thanks for reaching out. When installing a trailer hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e69ZV on your 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander, the bolts need to be torqued to 86 ft-lbs.

It's always a good idea to recheck the bolt torque after using the hitch for about 100 miles or so.

What will you be using the hitch for.
