Well, the trailer hitch arrived without any major structural damage or deformity, but evidently, major surgery had to be performed on the packaging at the UPS facility to keep the trailer hitch from falling out of the box. I was a bit concerned when accepting the package. You need to do some serious reevaluation of your packaging design. Insufficient cushioning and protection of the painted surfaces was incorporated into the packaging. At least all of the hardware arrived intact to install the trailer hitch.

This is by far the easiest trailer hitch receiver I have ever installed. Plenty of room to work on the Grand Highlander. Highly recommend getting this and doing it yourself if you’re on the fence.
I enlisted the help of my grandson to do the installation of the hitch on my 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Max. The fit was perfect and only took about 20 minutes. The hitch did suffer a few scratches during shipment but I touched them up with some flat black spray paint.
Installed hitch on a 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. Hitch installed very easily and took less than an hour. I balanced the hitch on a motorcycle/atv lift placed in the center of the hitch which made it much easier to lift into place and get the bolts in, but would have been faster with a 2nd person.
This is I think the fourth receiver i've purchased and i will say the easiest. Always a good fit and product...
Easy install on my 2025 Grand Highlander … even for a senior!! I managed to get the hitch situated under the vehicle and then raised it with extra pavers I had around. Got the furthest bolts threaded by hand, then raised the tongue end by putting in a teceiver and used a board to provide leverage with my knee while threading the other bolt. One all bolts were in, torqued them tight as per instructions. Took me about 1 1/2 hours total by myself. Love etrailer … have purchased from them previously and have never been disappointed!
Fit perfectly, and easy to install. The video provided a great overview, and I didn't run into any surprises. Probably took me 10-15 minutes in total, with my wife helping to support the hitch while I was under the car engaging the bolts.
Very simple install, and fits my 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Limited perfectly. Hardest part is just getting it into place until you get the bolts in place. Tried the jack, but found it was easier for my wife and I to hold it up until I got the bolts started.
Fit was perfect for the grand Highlander. The provided bolts and washers were high quality steel. I was able to install it myself without lifting the vehicle and used a jack and blocks to hold it up while I put the bolts in.

Took a while to line up the bolt holes, but everything went well. About 45 minutes to install - a lot of using a flat jack to raise and lower and tap with a rubber mallet to get it in position. Looks good.
Hitch receiver was very easy to install on my 2026 grand highlander platinum. It only took about 10 minutes to install with a second set hands to help hold it into position. I really like that the receiver doesn’t interfere with the kick sensors at all! I 100% recommend this product!
