Hi Ken!

To go along with the B&W Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # BW47BR on your 2025 Toyota RAV4, you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56434.

This is a plug and play harness that is a pretty quick and easy install. You do need to run one wire up to the battery for needed power, but other than that it's very straightforward. It really shouldn't take any longer than the B&W hitch (which bolts on pretty quickly).

Since you are also wanting the wiring, what are you going to be towing?

Speaking from real world experience with a 2024 rav 4 the install was very quick and easy. Although I do have a lift the receiver install took about 15 minutes with unboxing. The wiring took me all of 10 minutes. I keep everything under the false floor and did not shorten the pigtail, I just pinch it to length under the false floor and close the tailgate. I tow a dual motorcycle trailer quite often with no issues. The hitch has scraped the ground a few times leaving parking lots with steep curbs but it isn't alarming when you know what's occurring.

@Gregor A lift definitely makes things easier! ^___^ What kind of bikes are you towing? I had an 08 Fat Bob back in the day and that thing was a dang good time. Someday I will have another one.

I didn't find it all that easy to install in my 2020 Rav4. Primarily because you have to drag power from the front of the car. It's not as easy as it was in the '60s & '70s. You have to pull off and reinstall a lot of interior panels.

Thanks for the reply, nothing special planned for towing, so maybe I'll skip the harness when I get the hitch. Thanks for the response it helped with the decision I'll need to make
