When the job’s done, remove it and pop in the protective plug—no tools required and no sign a hitch was ever there.
Whether you’re hauling bikes, pulling a small trailer, or adding a cargo carrier, this hitch is built for it. The 2" receiver opening is rated for Class III use with a 3,500 lb maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lb tongue weight. It gives you the flexibility to tow light to moderate loads or carry extra gear without changing how your vehicle looks or drives.
The hitch is made from black powder-coated steel that stands up to rust, road grime, and tough weather. Safety chain loops are tucked out of sight but remain easy to reach when you need them. With solid construction and a thoughtful design, this hitch keeps its strength and clean appearance over time.

So far it’s great. Very solid and love no hole cut into a painted bumper.
This receiver/hitch does require removal of the bumper skirt but its totally worth the time. Everything lined up perfectly and the cut out for the removable receiver is totally hidden. Also, if you have the kick option for the hatch this unit allows you to keep that feature.
Written instructions an abomination. A actual crimes against humanity. No video available either from eTrailer or Oris for this model hitch. Just to figure out how to insert the detachable hitch took an hour!!!! To install it, had to watch an conglomeration of other style hitches on YouTube to figure it out. No advice to make cutout, nortemplate for the bumper cutout, nor edge trim for the cut. Took me six hours to install as a result of the sorrowful, poor resolution pictograms. The product is quite nice, and hitch is completely hidden.
This hitch was well protected by the packaging, and the shipment arrived in perfect condition. The engineering and finishing on this hitch is beautiful, with smooth weld beads and thick, semi-gloss black powder coat paint. All hardware is clearly identified and installation processes laid out logically in the instructions; the job took around two(2) hours to complete. The innovative receiver head design is remarkable: when not in use, the hitch is completely invisible! When needed, the Receiver Head “ball-locks” into the hitch frame at about the same height (just slightly higher, actually) as the dual exhaust tips. A lock cylinder, with two supplied keys, protects the installed receiver head from being stolen. I love the design and the relative ease of installation, the main reason being its invisibility when not in use.
