Hey David! The best upgraded equalizer is the one that matches your current equalizer dimensions. If your Jay Flight is anything like my Jay Feather I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00.

The E-Z Flex is 5-3/4" long which probably matches the stock equalizer on your Jayco. It also comes with a wet bolt kit so you don't have to pick that up separately. If you have the longer 7-3/4" equalizers then the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00 would be the right fit for your Jay Flight.

I have this kit on my trailer and it works really well. I attached a link further down on this page where Kevin installed it for your reference. While you're at it, I would consider adding MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR for lateral stability. The two upgrades combined go a long way on a travel trailer.

Where are you headed next with the Jay Flight once you upgrade the suspension?

These work real well on our trailer. I will buy another set if I upgrade my trailer again.

I installed this kit to replace the junk the factory installed. I just towed it and it worked great. It was also fairly easy to install.

I put these with the wet bolt kit on my GD Imagine and it works pretty good at stabilizing the trailer while driving, it helped eliminate the rocking that I would get with my tow vehicle compared to the garbage OEM set up, also, the plastic bushings that are OEM will wear through. So the wet bolts with the metal bushings are a huge upgrade
