Kits are not designed to fit specific trailers though based on my research we do have one kit that may work for you, depending on a few measurements you need to take. Based on my research your Lance 2280 travel trailer is a single axle so the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit # LC281255 may work as it is for single axles that are 2-3/8" in diameter, which is standard for 3,500 lb axles.

So long as you have that diameter axle and a 4 inch clearance between the inside of your trailer's tire and your I-beam flange; an I-beam is needed so you can mount the upper bracket of this kit. If you take a look at the cut out of the instruction manual I added you can see where the bracket and shock will go.

I have also added a link to a video review of this kit for you to check out.

Since your trailer has round 2-3/8" diameter tandem axles the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers # RM-2450 would be a great choice. This kit installs by replacing your existing U-bolt plates with the tie plates included in the kit. The instructions are linked for you to check out so you can see the exact process.

I have a 2015 Shasta Aerflyte trailer. It has a 2 3/8" round axle. To get the vintage look Shasta mounted the axle over the springs and installed oversize tires. It is 3" from the top of the axle to the bottom of the frame, It is 2 1/2" from the inside of the tire to the frame. Will your 3500 lb (2 3/8") axle kit fit on my trailer?

The Lippert Shock Kit # LC281255 does require at least 4" of tire to frame clearance, so it won't be a good option for your Shasta trailer. A better solution to help improve the trailer's ride quality is the SumoSprings # TSS-106-40.
