Can Redarc Tow-Pro Link Replace Curt Echo on 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara With Factory 7-Way

I have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. It did not come with the factory installed trailer brake system. However, I did purchase and install the OEM Jeep trailer brake wiring harness P/N 82216359AA. I did not add a typical controller inside the vehicle and the blue wire in the harness is not connected to anything. Instead, I purchased the Curt Echo Bluetooth controller. Would the Redarc RED57AR be a direct replacement for the Curt unit with no additional wiring required since it is bluetooth as well?

Hey Neil, welcome back! Yes, the Redarc Tow-Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller # RED57AR will be a direct replacement for your Curt Echo. The factory wiring harness you have uses a USCAR connector so the Tow-Pro Link will plug in-line with the factory connector just like the Curt Echo In-Line # C79DR. No additional wiring will be required.
If you have the traditional Echo # C51180 it will still work, installation is just a little different than what you have now. The Link is going to be a nice upgrade with extra features like the SwayStop and the ability to test your trailer connector through the app. You also get a physical remote, and the reliability that comes with Redarc brake controllers.
