Replacement Scissor Stabilizer Jacks for 2013 Viking Pop Up 1404 GS

What would be the proper replacement stabilizer jacks for a 2013 Viking pop up camper model 1404 GS? It has 4 of them on this model. Thank you, Matt

Hey Matt, the etrailer scissor jacks part # e56VV would be a great set of stabilizer jacks to replace what you have on your 2013 Viking 1404 GS. Scissor jacks like this basically all install the same way and are universal so these would for sure fit in place of what you have and they are also rated higher so they will work really well and last a long time too. Did yours bend and break?

The experts covered the important part but I learned a bit after I installed mine. First, the jacks are solid but don’t expect a “Cadillac” product at this price, just one that will do the job. In my case the new part was the same in every way I could see to what came in the trailer. Nice since I was adding jacks to the front of my trailer that only came with jacks at the rear, now it looks like I planed it. What I learned, and I guess all the experienced folks already know, a battery drill works great for raising and lowering the jacks BUT make sure the drill has a clutch and the clutch is set to less than drill, i.e. not locked.

If you were replacing a previous set of jacks you saved yourself some time . My Colemen did not have front jacks, so I bought these. It did have rear ones. The only problem I had was using a battery drill to drill the holes where non have been! Borrowed an electric drill and was able to get through the framing very quick. They worked nice for 2 years and then I sold the trailer. Make sure to lube the drill shaft after every trip and you won't have any problems. My new trailer had 4 from the factory and that is the way it should be. Doug
