Looking For Guide Posts With Trailer Tail Lights That Go On Top
Updated 11/13/2025 | Published 10/26/2025 >
Question:
Do you have trailer tail lights that go on the guide posts? These would replace the tail lights on the trailer completely. My trailer lights keep getting water inside so I want to put on very top of guide posts to stay out of water.

Hello Josh, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a set of guide posts with LED lights on top. Take a look at the following:
- CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons with LED Lights for Boat Trailers - 40" Tall - 1 Pair # CE27740
The LED lights can be wires to the stop/turn signals if needed, but it is typically recommended to wire them to the running light circuit for the best nighttime visibility.

Hey Josh, how did the guide posts with LED lights work out on your trailer? Did wiring them to the running light circuit give you the visibility you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with water getting into their lights.
