Do you have any waterproof Submersible load resistors for boat trailer LED lights either individual or a gang type would be nice to fool new gmc 2500 pick up Thank you Brandon Spalding Spalding Marine

Hey Brandon, thanks for reaching out. If you’re looking for a load resistor that can handle the elements on a boat trailer, the ARC LED Load Resistor # ARC22VR is a solid option. It is not specifically rated as submersible, but it has an anodized aluminum housing that does a good job holding up to moisture and corrosion when mounted in a protected spot on the trailer frame.

Most installers mount these a little higher up on the frame rail or inside the tongue area so they are not sitting directly in the water when you launch. They wire in-line with the turn signal circuits to add the resistance the truck expects, which stops the hyper-flash and warning messages you’re seeing on the new GMC. If you prefer a cleaner install, you can also mount both resistors together in the same area and seal the connections with heat-shrink butt connectors or marine-grade shrink tubing to keep everything weather tight.
