Question:

Do you sell a PRE-WIRED 7prong w/4prong plug I can put in place of damaged factory wiring? I need a 7and4 plug I can bolt to my plate on my hitch and prewired wires that have plug or plugs? that will plug into factory plugs behind my bumper and attached to the frame by GM!? I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 crew cab z71

Hey Scott, welcome back! Do you have a USCAR connection on there now with the old factory 7-way? It will look similar to the attached photo. If that is what you have, you can use the Curt Dual Connection Socket w/ Bracket - 7-Way RV Style and 4-Way Flat # C36GJ as a replacement. If you have something else feel free to send me a photo and I'll see what is available.

Hey Scott, I drive a 2016 3500 Ram crew cab dually. I know it’s not your Chevy, however, these plug and play trailer 7/4 way trailer light/power plugs are pretty much the same. I’ve purchased several of these over time and they are so simple to install in place of your factory one. You have to unclip the wire harness from the back of plug. Don’t break the red safety clips. Once harness is removed, there are 2 tabs opposite one another on the backside of the plug, just squeeze them against the sides of the plug while pushing the plug through the rear of the bumper to remove. Push new plug into bumper slot till you hear/feel it click into place. Then plug harness back into the rear of plug reseating red safety clips. Done. If you’re going to mount on bottom of your truck’s bumper, it’s same process with the exception of getting an extension to go from your factory harness to the rear of the plug as the harness is probably going to be too short to connect to the plug. E-trailer has this extension as well as the plug and bracket. It’s all plug and play. No dicing/splicing wires.
