Question:
As per the 2026 GMC sierra 2500 hd Denali manual it says for tires 275/5R20 “ If your vehicle is equipped with the tire sizes listed below, use SAE Class S chains, low profile chains that add no more than 12 mm 0.5 in thickness to the tire tread and inner sidewall, or textile traction devices, such as snow socks. Use chains that are the proper size for the tires. Install them on the tires of the axle indicated for your vehicle trim level. “ do these chains meet these requirements?

Hey Greg! The Titan Chain Tire Chains # TC2536 are not Class S compatible. For Class S chains that fit your 275/65R20 tires we have the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2335. The only other option is cables, and I really only recommend them if you're trying to comply with the law and never plan on really using them. I also recommend picking up the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster # TCMA2.
What winter plans are on the calendar for your new Denali?

The chains I purchased from E-Trailer were purchased to meet the possession requirement to travel on highways that specifically stated snow chains must be onboard. When operating I was pulling a 22' dual axel fiberglass MiniWinnie camper at never traveled at a speed exceeding 45 MPH, and this is because the trailer acts as a push weight when braking. Even though the camper has brakes on the from axel of the camper, it is possible to turn the whole thing into an ice skating event if I attempt any greater speed. It might also be wise to purchase a set of chains for my camper, however this is not legally required and I am not towing during snow storms or immediately after. I wait until the roads have been cleared. There is no point endangering a $30 K camper and a $70K truck to just meet a travel time line. If change should come loose or disconnected th damage they can inflict on the truck is magnanimous. SO, go slow, Go cautious, Go safely because it is suppose to be a holiday not a YouTube video.
