Will Roadmaster Falcon 2 Fit Demco Base Plate on 2018 Ram 2500

2018 Ram 2500 4x4. I was planning to purchase the Demco base plate. Issue is I have a Falcon II tow bar. Looking at the adapter it looks like it needs vertical orientation to line up with the demco connection point. My falcon II ends do not rotate, they only swivel up and down. Looking at roadmaster parts breakdown it does not appear it should. Has this been an issue for these older falcon II bars. Mine is about 9 years old. Thanks, Gordon

Hey Gordon! If you want you can send me some pictures and I'll double check but the Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter Brackets for Demco Classic Base Plates # DM9523036 are designed to work with any Falcon 2 tow bar. These will allow you to connect to the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9518134.
It is also worth noting that you're probably coming to the end of the life of that tow bar. Roadmaster recommends replacement after 8-10 years or a max of 70-80k miles. You can replace it with another Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520 or upgrade to something newer like the Roadmaster Falcon 3HD # RM27NQ if you have reached its limits.

I'm using a Demco base plate on a '04 Jeep Liberty, along with a Falcon II. The RM to Demco adapters work perfectly and are quite easy to install on the tow bar.
