The fixed-arm design eliminates the need for an external crossbar, so only the base plate tabs are visible. Hidden reinforcement keeps the look streamlined while still providing solid attachment points for your tow bar. The kit includes tab covers that snap over each pull point when not towing, keeping dirt out of the sockets and protecting shins from bumps.

After a year, baseplate works great. Changed tow bar to a non-ball type. No baseplate connection issues.

The base plates are still performing well. They were easy to install on my Ram 1500. They are very heavy duty good construction.
