This Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver keeps everything looking factory fresh by concealing the cross tube behind the bumper. It’s rated for a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs and meets SAE J684 safety regulations. This hitch works perfectly on my 23'M340. Seriously is the perfect solution as it's completely hidden when not needed. Fairly straight forward install that I was able to complete myself in a few hours.
This product is exactly what I was looking for and installed without a… “hitch.” I chose to order from etrailer instead of Stealth Hitch given my experience with ordering from this site. The customer service is always top notch.
Receiver is great, but installation is no joke. The biggest challenge was getting the rear fascia back on. I measured about a 3/8" difference in how far the replacement bumper stuck out relative to the stock bumper that it replaces. This made stretching the fascia into place quite difficult. Otherwise, it wasn't terrible.
One other note: my bike rack is 1-1/4", but this was only offered with a 2" receiver on etrailer. Using an adapter made the bike rack stick out comically far. Stealth offers an 1-1/4" receiver and happily swapped my unused 2" for the 1-1/4" (I just paid shipping). Would be nice if etrailer would offer both flavors to save the aggravation.
Stealth hitch works great. I never have to take it off my car.

Very nice hitch. Very solid construction. Great stealth design. Straight forward removal of receiver to make stealth. Kuat bike rack fits great. Highly recommend .
Excellent quality hitch! Did the install myself as I had nearly all the tools necessary. It took me about nine hours but I paced myself and took breaks in between to rest. Mind you, I have above novice mechanical skills and the printed instructions turned out to be adequate to help do it. If you DIY, I can’t stress enough to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY!! I missed the part on the torx screw and it cost me a broken tab on my bumper, but fortunately it’s hidden so big whew there. Taking the bumper off was definitely the most anxiety-inducing part of the installation!
Saved me hundreds and I get to enjoy the pride of doing it myself.

Perfect!
Very expensive. An high weight rate for a car not able to haul this weight load. Cost more for install than hitch. Works great, struggel to hoke up and remove.

Cool product that allows your car to look stock when you remove the hitch attachment. I do wish that a vendor did offer a standard hitch design as I don't really mind the look of a hitch on the back of my car. The eTrailer installation video was very accurate for my 2022 BMW 330i and was a great help for this installation.

the rubber plug covering the hole under the hitch disappeared about 4 weeks ago. Build/design a better one that doesn't fall off after a few months.
