Hi Terry!

The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms 524467-5 (our part # RM38VR) does indeed use almost the exact same parts as the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms 524477-5 (our part # RM45EQ), save for that wiring harness bracket. It looks like said bracket changed for the 2024 model year for the Ford F-150, but the arms, arm brackets, and hardware are basically exactly the same between the two (I went piece by piece through the instructions to make sure). There are actually a few extra pieces in the 524467-5 that you will not need for your truck.

You could probably do your own thing to mount the wiring if you wanted to, but if you wanted the specific wiring bracket you would have to go through Roadmaster to get it. The part number from the instructions is C003811.

It looks like you got the wiring and safety cables sorted out, but do you have a braking system yet?

Hey Terry, did you end up using your 524467-5 base plate on the new F-150 with that wiring bracket change? Your results could really help others upgrading to the newer model. Did you also decide on a braking system setup yet?
