Question:
I own a 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport and would like to know which hitch I should purchase to support the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack? Is this hitch difficult to install?

Hey Tom. To install a hitch on your 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport, I recommend our etrailer item # e98848. This custom fit class III hitch has a 2" receiver and comes with all hardware necessary to complete the installation.
Our etrailer Hitch item # e98848 has a 525 lbs tongue weight capacity so it will work great with the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes item # TH69TX or the item # TH83JV for 2 bikes. When we installed this hitch the hitch pin hole measured 2-1/2" behind the closest point of the rear bumper. The top of the 2" receiver is 11-1/2" off of the ground.
I really the etrailer Hitch item # e98848 because of how it installs. The installation is pretty easy and once you get it onto your CR-V the only part visible is the 2" receiver.
I've linked an installation video below along with the instructions so you can see how to get the etrailer item # e98848 setup.
Do you have the 4-bike T2 Pro or the 2-bike?

Hey Tom, how did things go with the etrailer hitch on your CR‑V Hybrid Sport? Did the fit and clearance work well with your Thule T2 Pro XTR rack? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same combo.
