There sure is Rob and congrats on the new SUV. To add a hitch to your 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5, I recommend the EcoHitch item # EH72HR. This hitch is custom fit for your Ioniq 5 and comes with all hardware necessary for installation. The crosstube mounts entirely behind the rear bumper so all you're going to see is the 2" receiver.

The EcoHitch item # EH72HR is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 2,500 lbs towing capacity and a 375 lbs maximum tongue weight, which means it's going to be great for towing a small trailer or using an accessory like a bike rack or cargo box.

Thank you so much for the quick response and pictures. So far so good. I've only had it for a few days now and the weathers been sketchy so it's stayed inside. I plan on using the hitch for a bike rack I bought a few years ago from you guys. I can't remember what it was now. That's good to know about towing. I haven't even thought about it but that's something to keep in mind for sure.

It is NOT an easy install!My installer was reluctant to proceed as he needed to cutplastic on my new car, You caannot see the problem unless you look closely but I did nothink it shhoulkd have eeen offered as fitting the car. I only use it for a bike rack.

@PeterS The installation takes time, but it isn't that difficult. Just follow the videos and be patient un-snapping the side trim panels. Cutting the plastic is un-avoidable. I had to do on my Honda when I installed the hitch on that as well. It is now very common as cars have molding under the car for greater aerodynamics.
