This hitch gives your vehicle real utility. With a 6,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 900-lb tongue weight rating, it’s built for everyday towing jobs and for carrying racks and cargo carriers. Got this hitch to be able to add a bike rack. Didn’t like the idea of having a rack that hooked on with straps, especially 3 bikes now and another 2 later.
The product came really quick and please watch installation video before installing. Saves a lot of time and you learn a few tricks while watching video. The hardest party was the wiring. Direction were easy, but recommend having 2 people for the job. Helps a lot.

Easy fit after two bolts are trimmed off. Installed without lifting car. Release last two exhaust support. Enough space to pass unit and catch one bolt. Raise opposite side and bolt up. Replace plastic panels on both sides with new push pins.

Easy to install and much faster/cheaper than trying to find a shop to install. This is our second hitch purchase from trailer, would definitely recommend.
Well built. Easy installation. Directions were very complete. Only negative is that the receiver is under the bumper too far. Had to buy an extension for carrier to fit.
Installed it by myself with the help of a few buckets to hold it up while I got bolts started. Had to pound on it a little to get it aligned properly. I just OK alignment, but could have be the vehicle as much as the hitch. I found that putting in the upper long carriage bolts first was smart. The video I watched recommended putting in the lower bolts first. Looks good and appears to by sturdy and well made.
Very well made and attractively priced, no need to pay more for the name brand. Like the matte finish. Excellent communication and tracking. This is my second e trailer hitch. Good stuff!
First, let me say I'm very impressed with the whole delivery process. First I received automated notice of the order, typical, then I received an email with the tracking number when it shipped, somewhat typical. However, on the tracking email they supplied two "How To" video links that were specific for my personal vehicle, wow! I had a clear and concise instructional before the part even arrived! And, I didn't have to go find it on my own. Because of this great addition I had an idea of how much time, which tools and the general requirements for the task. I have to admit, it added to the excitement because my concern about what I may need to do was eliminated. In fact, I installed my unit the day it arrived.
In my personal case, the steel was slightly sprung, probably from the welding. It took a little fight and some bumping with a mallet to get things going together. Once I had a few turns on every bolt I just took my time and did about 3 turns to each in a pattern. This was to ensure the bolts were somewhat evenly pulling everything to its final position. The part is a great fit for my Santa Fe. I will definitely recommend and shop with E-Trailer in the future. If you are considering this trailer hitch, I definitely recommend it.
This hitch looks great. Very low profile which nothing attached. I don’t have any specialized tools and very basic vehicle mechanical skills and I was down with installation in about an hour. Got this for adding a 60x24 cargo carrier on a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport for some extra room for camping trips. Thank you etrailer for an amazing product!
Trailer hitch is fine, but your promised shipping schedule sucked! Ended being 8 days late.
It is an etrailer product, so not much more to say. Hitch is very well built and heavy duty. The finishing looks great in the vehicle, and the round tube is a perfect fit.
Installation took 1hr:20min, and that is because I did not have one of the tools required to get the bumper pin out of the way, so had to improvise.
etrailer video was paramount for me to complete the installation. I recommend you watch the video prior to installing yours.
I am ready to tow and take our bikes for a ride. Thank you etrailer, for putting money back in my pocket!
The holes didn’t line up. I removed the necessary exhaust hanger etc fought with it to find out that the holes were not aligned with the chassis holes. Disappointing. I will likely try again and be prepared to open the holes up so it will fit. This experience was complete opposite of the previous one I installed a couple years ago.

Hi Steve, When a trailer hitch is constructed, softer steel is used in the side plates as opposed to the harder steel used in the crossbar and receiver tube. This allows the hitch to flex along with the vehicle to a certain degree. This flexibility can also allow the hitch to get slightly bent out of position during shipping and handling which is why the holes aren't lining up. The good news is that it's very easy to fix this if you know a few tricks as shown in the linked article.

I have a 2014 HYUNDAI SANTA FE GLS which has dual exhaust and technically wasn't covered in the installation video or vehicle fit list. I didnt realize this till I began to install it and once I did I figured what the heck let me try. Ill say this is does fit and bolted right on once I got it in place. The only issue I ran across was the hitch hitting the driver side exhaust cover mounted on the bumper, but all I had to do was remove 2 10mm bolts to get it loose, slide the hitch in place and insert one bolt to hold it and once everything was torqued I went back got the 2 10mm bolts to thread back in. All in all its a solid hitch that one person can install if your willing to get a little dirty. I recommend it for the build quality, ease of installation, and great pricing.

This hitch is not showing that it is a confirmed fit for the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS, it is only a fit for the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. This could be the cause of the exhaust cover being in the way.
From the ordering / section of product process to shipping,receiving product it was simply amazing, etrailer is now my go to for any etrailer products, would highly recommend. 5 stars to office staff Ashley informed on ever step. Well done. Keep up the good work.
The hitch came properly packaged and was installed with no problem. The darn muffler hangers were more of a problem that anything. Perfect fit!

Sold that vehicle and will be ordering yet another for this vehicle! That one worked well and the fit was perfect, saved money over competition.
So far I love the hitch on my wife's 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. It was easy to install and the fitment of the hitch under the rear of the vehicle is great. It looks like it'll be perfect for a bike rack and cargo rack. I'm also happy with the quality of the metal used for the bolts and the hitch itself.
Ordering was a breeze. Delivery was quick. Installation went smoothly. Couldn’t be happier. I bought the unit for carrying bicycles so did not bother with the wiring harness.

A year later and the receiver works as it should! Great buy. Currently also using it as the anchor point for kayak stern lines.
