Hey George, according to Kat's Heaters, their # KH11815 cartridge style engine block heater installs into the core hole on the right side of the engine block toward the front of the motor on your 2013 Ford F-150 with the 3.5 liter ecoboost engine.

First, mine is a 2014, did you just mis-type 2013? Clarification: Is the RIGHT looking from the drivers seat, or from the front of the vehicle? Also, is it near the top or near the bottom of the engine? There is a cover/skid plate covering almost all the engine from underneath. Hoses everywhere I cannot reach the engine very well and cannot find any core hole with my reaching. Thanks
