Engine Block Heater Compatible with 3.5L EcoBoost on 2013 Ford Flex Limited

Question:

I want to know if the Katz KH11815 will fit a 2013 Ford Flex Limited with AWD and the 3.5 Ecoboost twin turbo. It seems to be listed for the other similar drivetrain vehiclesExplorer Sport, Taurus SHO but there is no listing for the flex. Thanks.

The Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style - 120V - 400 Watts # KH11815 is a fit for the 3.5 EcoBoost you have. It will fit in the right front location of your engine. You will simply clean the cartridge hole with compressed air and then attach the cord to the heater. Next insert the heater and rotate the clip on the cord to the correct position to secure the heater and cord to the engine block. Then route the cord to the grille using cable ties to keep the cord away from hot or moving parts. Finally, you can plug in the heater which will get very hot within seconds.
