Hey John! You're in luck, Blue Ox recently developed a base plate kit that will work with the 2.0L Turbo and adaptive cruise control. For a Blue Ox setup on your 2026 Blazer I recommend the following:

-Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BLU68QV

-Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7420 (includes safety cables)

-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267

-Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System # RM-766

-Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System # RVI94FR

For the wiring I recommend using Roadmaster since they're the most reliable. The new Shadow 2 is my favorite brake system but if you want a portable option the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR is also available. If you get the Patriot you will need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332.

The only other thing you may need is a high-low adapter to keep your setup level. You want it to be in the "safe zone" which is +/- 3" from level. Measure from the ground to the center of your hitch, then subtract the base plate bracket height of 13-1/2" to find the difference. If you're over 3" you will need an adapter. I attached a link to all of our high-low adapters further down on this page for your reference.

Any big trips coming up with your motorhome once you get your Blazer all set up?
