This is not my first order from trailer. Again it's been a great experience, the hitch fit great, I watched the how to video, and all went easy.
Very good experience.
Received the trailer hitch a day early.installed it instantly with out instructions(instructions were included)strait forward and had everything needed to make the job easy.install time 1:10min. No modifications needed.went on a 2020 blazer Lt. Very Happy.
This installation was a nightmare! I tried for multiple hours to get this installed, turns out the hitch itself was bent and did not align with the frame correctly (see picture). I had to spend hundreds of dollars ontop of all of the time/effort already input to get the product unbent and installed.
Seems like a nice receiver, except the right mounting bracket was bent. Bolt holes did not line up. Had to be bent prior to shipping,since the box was not damaged.
Installed easy and good product.
I haven't even opened the box yet. I needed a 2" receiver for our new Blazer. I bought this same thing from you guys a few years back but only for our old rouge. I was so pleased that this time I came here first.

Its holding up like a champ. A little bouncy but this is to be expected Toting our 2up e bikes @ 70lbs each.
Was not a perfect fit as I had to force the bolts in. Close but not perfect. Also it would have been nice to have been told that the hitch would interfere with the hands-free feature of the rear hatch on the vehicle. After I started the install and realized that the hitch would cover the sensor for the hands-free feature I called to ask about it. That's when I was told that the sensor for that feature would be covered by the hitch. You knew that up front but never mentioned it before the sale. Not real happy about that.
Was easy to install with given instruct ions.
Very easy install with good instructions. Took just over an hour start to finish laying on my back in the driveway. Hitch has held up well one-year later and would definitely recommend to anyone. Will purchase similar products in the future as my needs arrive.
Fits good. The only problem is the hands free hatch opener hits on the hitch and I had to drill a new hole in the bumper cover to anchor it.

Clean hitch design and excellent powder coat finish.
Easy 30 min. install. Do not have to drop exhaust to install (would make accessing the openings at the ends of the frame rails for bolt install easier but it isn't necessary). Quality hitch. I am very pleased. Highly recommend.
Arrived very quick and it was much cheaper than the GM was.
Fit perfect put it on by myself. Another person would’ve made it easier.
Used your company prior with never a issue.This time was not a good experience as I have always installed them myself with no help. 2025 Blazer has a closed channel. The access holes for the bolt and washer were too small making it impossible to install them. Had to take to Pep Boys where they had to drill out the access holes and install it for me for almost $200. So saving money rather than going factory in this case did not benefit me. Will not be doing additional business with your company and quite pissappointed.

just got it
Hitch was made for my vehicle but did not fit properly. I had to enlarge bolt holes in hitch and vehicle frame in order to get all bolts installed. If I wasn't experienced in metal working I would have had to send hitch back.

It is a good bike hitch. It came with bad instructions. I had my dad help me cut some excess material off with an angle grinder. And took us both to put it on my (22 Chevy Blazer 2wd). After having for a year, I have decided to just keep it on the vehicle & dont take it off. Just a month ago, I discovered that you can fold this model bike hitch, closer to the vehicle, so it is not sticking out as far.
I recieved an email from etrailer to leave a review. I gave it 3 stars because I had the time, help, & material to get the hitch working right.

Hitch is made very well. Great quality hardware included. Coating is very thick. Reason for the 4 stars is the spacers included did not fit the access hole. I had to take a step bit to enlarge the access hole. Install was easy from there.
Perfect fit! The only complaints I have are that it was poorly packaged and no instructions were included. The receiver was packed loose in a box and had done considerable damage to it. I had UPS wait while I confirmed that there was no damage. I expect a quality supplier like etrailer to do a better job.
The hitch receiver works well and as intended. The only isse is with install. My Blazer has dual exhaust tips that extend through openings in the bumper facia. It is not possible to drop the exhast down past the opening which surround the exhaust tips. Also it was nearly impossible to blindly remove the bolts for the exhaust brackets. So, the rear bumper facia had to be totally removed from the vehicle. Much more involved. In addition, the hitch assembly made contact with a bracket that the electrical connector for the park aid sensors, the brackets had to be modified else the bumper facia would not assemble properly. It has been 8-9 months since I installed the hitch and I did not take photos etc.
Install is pretty easy. I done it in garage on floor by myself with the use of a floor jack. Watch the video as it is helpful.
Bought this for a 2021 Blazer Premiere. It can be used on the premier with a slight modification. I did not have to drop the muffler but I did have to completely remove the lower valance support brackets to slide it in. I had to shave just a little bit off the brackets to allow them to be reinstalled in front of the hitch. Bitch was slightly bent upon arrival but the videos on here on how to correct that were helpful. 2.5 hour install by myself. Overall, satisfied with the hitch. Using it for a hitch mounted bike rack. 4 stars only because I had to modify the support brackets.

I am so sorry you had to go through all that! Most of the time, when a hitch isnt lining up quite right, it is because the flanges or wings have been bent a little in the shipping and transit process. Bending them back to the proper shape is easier than you might think! I have attached a link to an article that shows a few different ways you can do this if you ever run into this problem again.
