Hi William!

The best wiring harness will depend on if your 2007 Ford Escape has the factory towing package or not. This was fairly rare in '07, but I would still have a Ford dealer run your VIN to make sure. I have both options listed below:

Without Tow Package:
Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118426

With Tow Package:
Hopkins Plug-N-Tow (R) Vehicle Wiring Harness # 40455

We technically have a few options for non tow package vehicle, but I have found Tekonsha to make the most reliable harnesses on the market. They are the ones to get. The Hopkins is about as basic as it gets, so it will also work perfectly fine if you end up having the tow package.

What are you going to be towing?

Hey William, did you find out whether your Escape has the factory tow package and decide which wiring harness to go with? Knowing what worked could help others trying to choose between the Tekonsha and Hopkins options.
