Wiring a fifth-wheel or gooseneck connection doesn’t have to mean cutting into factory wires. The Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole plugs inline with the existing factory harness to add a 7-way socket in the truck bed. It uses a standard round U.S. Car connector, so the install is simple and secure with no splicing required.
With this T-connector, you can keep the rear bumper plug and add another 7-way inside your bed. That means you can hook up your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer without draping cords over the tailgate. The harness provides full power, brake, reverse, and light circuits through its 7-wire design for clean, reliable in-bed connections.
Each circuit uses dedicated wire gauges for strength and consistent current flow—8-gauge for ground, 10-gauge for brake output and 12-volt power, and 12-gauge for the lighting circuits. The back of the socket is sealed with silicone to keep moisture out and protect contacts from corrosion, helping ensure long-term performance even in wet conditions.
The connector mounts through a 2 or 2-1/8 inch hole in the truck bed wall for a factory look. Once the hole is cut, feed the harness through, secure the socket with the included bracket, and plug it into the OEM wiring. It’s a clean setup that keeps your wiring protected and out of the way when towing heavy loads.

Customers do not want to search the Internet for the information or anyone else for something they have paid good money for. My assumption that the directions would come with the product, makes me like a bigger fool.

Connector in the photo shown with zip tie would not properly fit and lock into place. How discouraging, you go through the process to install the part and one component on the harness does not fit!

Awesome to just plug in and not have to splice wires, has a factory look without hanging you wires over the tailgate! Great product, entire order delivered together and when promised.
Had to take truck to a shop to get it to work. Also messed up the manf socket. Pins can go into bed socket in multiple orientations. Instructions aren't clear which way is correct.
Very east installation and looks good. It would be nice if you put in paper instructions with the kit and let everyone know that you need to cut a 2 inch hole for the installation.

Product was good hooked up to factory wiring With no problems was missing the mounting screws and installation instructions. Item shipped quickly from e trailer. Wiring kit for my F350 to put it in the bed for easier reach. So simple and straight forward. My daughter rodeos so I buy all my trailer needs here. The install videos are just super and easy to understand. These guys at Etrailer.com are the best, Shipping is always super fast.
White ground wire would not clip into harness. Plastic retainer clip broke off during install. I don't understand why the harness wouldn't come pre-terminated, because it fits through a 2 1/4 inch hole just fine. I would recommend a different product. I wish I would have bought from a different manufacture with the harnesses pre-terminated to the connectors.
Easy install works great quick and simple took longer to route the wires under the truck then to drill and mount the plug ( didn’t get any screws though ? )

eTrailer Shipped The T-Connector Within 24 Hours And I Received My Invoice Thru Email. The Price Was The Lowest I Found On The Internet. I Called First To Make Sure They Had The Connector In Stock And The Young Lady I Talked To Was Very Courteous And Professional. She Answered All My Questions And Had A lot Of Product Knowledge On This Item.
Very Easy To Install On A 2008 F350, It's Not Rocket Science Guys. The Hardest Thing To Do Is Removing The White Clip From The Factory Plug, Dirt And Age Make It A Little Difficult To Remove. Just Put A Little WD40 On It, And Use A Small Screw Driver And Work It Off Without Breaking it. Also Put The Yellow Wire #7 In The Center Hole Of The Plug First, It Makes It Easier Rather Then Doing It Last. You Can Print The Instructions On eTrailer's Website And Also Look At The Great Video They Have On The Installation.
Works great, I've had it installed for about a year now. I bought to have a plug in the bed to run the lights on my headache rack. Easy to install and I haven't had any troubles from it yet.
Wiring harness came quickly and was exactly as described. Super simple installation. Drill your hole in your truck bed where you want your 5th wheel plug to be. I used a 2.5” hole saw. Follow the color coordinated drawing to install the wires in your new plug. Just unplug your existing factory 7way plug, feed the wiring down through your new hole, use 4 metal screws to secure your new plug in your bed. Now go underneath, route your new harness and zip tie out of the way. Plug in the new harness to your oem factory 7 way plug, then use the remaining plug to plug back into your 7 way plug mounted to the truck on or under the bumper if you plan on using that plug again. I wanted to as I have a four way on my bumper as well. Fast and easy, no sweat.

The Pollak 5th Wheel T-Connector w/7 Pole, is a great product. The hardest part of the installation on my 2014 Ford F-250 truck was cutting the hole in the box, need a drill that has power. I used a half inch electric drill. The Pollak connector plugged into the Ford factory electrical connections with ease. This T-Connector was just what I was looking for. I pull a 32' 5th Wheel Camper, the camper cord plugs into the Pollak connector with no issues. Thanks!

I have had no issues with the Pollak Custom Vehicle Wiring for my Camper that I installed on my 2014 Ford F-250 Truck, it is functioning as it should. Thanks for making a great product.
It works great so far, pretty easy to install. It would be nice if the trailer connection end came pre-wired, where you could just plug it in like the other end. My eyes are just old.
Install instructions/videos on the website were very helpful.
Junk!! blinker and brake light on driver side doesn't work, no continuity on the yellow wire from one end to the next, save your money!!
You sent the wrong one it didn’t fit. I talked to someone & she said she was sending a return label. It’s been almost a week. Said you all couldn’t help me. Bought it from really auto. Then I looked back on web & you all sell same one. I bought a brake away system from you got it very quick. 2 days maybe. Please send a return label. Thanks

No instructions included I did get it installed and all the lights work how ever the brake controller isn’t working not sure which component is the trouble, the wiring harness the brake controller or the trailer wiring. Over all seems to be good quality product
