Hello Allen, thanks for reaching out. We do have the parts you will need to convert your trailer from surge to electric brakes, but there is no way to look up your trailer online to know exactly what parts you will need.

The main thing we need to nail down is which brake assemblies and hubs you will need. If you can provide me with the casting number from your hubs, I should be able to use that to look up the info I need. Basically I need to know the weight capacity of your axle, your bearing/seal sizes and your hub bolt pattern. Once I know that I will be able to put together a parts list for you.

For example, if you have a standard 3,500 lb axle, you would need the following:

- etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # AKEBRK-35-SA

- Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles - 10" - 5 on 4-1/2 - Pre-Greased # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K

- etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector # e99011

- Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire - per Foot # 10-2-1

- Demco Straight Tongue Trailer Coupler - eZ-Latch - Silver - 2" Ball - Bolt On - 10,000 lbs # DM15000-52

The brake wire is sold by the foot. Also, the Demco coupler bolts on to a 3" tongue. You will need a 7-way and an electric trailer brake controller in your tow vehicle. The Tekonsha P3 # 90195 is what I recommend for that.

Let me know your axle information and I am happy to look into it and tweak the list if needed. Reply on this page.

@AllenD The rotors should have a number cast on the back or I might be able to use the part number on the caliper itself. Depending on the condition the numbers can be hard to make out so if that fails you could try checking the axle tag or sticker if present. If that fails you could remove a hub and pull the bearings and get the number off each one or measure the ID but hopefully it doesn't come to that lol. Let me know what you find out and we will get you sorted.
