Question:
Hello, I am looking to install a brake controller onto my 2022 ford bronco badlands without a factory tow package. I was looking at the red arc. Which module should I purchase and also I do not have the 7 pin plug in the back of the vehicle either. Thanks

Hi James!
We can definitely help get your 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands set up with a brake controller! The Redarc controllers are my favorite and I highly (and often) recommend them. With your Bronco having a 3,500 pound towing capacity (check your owners manual to verify), you wouldn't really be gaining anything by going to the top of the line option and the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional # RED52VR will serve you very well.
You mentioned not having a 7-way yet, but do you have a 4-flat? The # ETBC7 Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller will need one to piggyback off of, so you will need to grab one if you don't. There are two options for this and the correct one will depend on if you have LED taillights or not.
With LED: Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK99VR
Without LED: Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK33VR
What are you planning on towing with your Bronco?

Hi James, Did you manage to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller on your Bronco? I'm curious if you were able to sort out the 4-flat wiring and choose the right harness for your taillights. If you’re still working on it, I’m happy to help!
