Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this MORryde X-Factor crossmember drop adapter kit. This adapter kit is going to allow you to lower your MORryde X-Factor crossmember, which is sold separately. You can find it here at Etrailer using the part number you see on the screen there. So if you are needing to install that crossmember, but you have some drain lines or other obstacles in the way that will prevent you from getting that installed. These brackets are going to lower your bar, your crossmember, by approximately three and a quarter of an inch.
So that's gonna help you clear those drain lines and other obstacles and allow you to get that crossmember installed on your fifth wheel or travel trailer. This will bolt right to the X-Factor crossmember, right in place of those original brackets. It is going to be very simple to get installed. No welding or anything is required. It will reuse the crossmember hardware, and so it's basically just swapping out the original brackets for these and to give you that approximately three and a quarter of an inch drop for better clearance.

Easy installation similar to standard brackets. Provided the necessary clearance to factory installed gas line protective tube that ran from front to back of my Brinkley over the axles. Advice to installers: verify actual width of spring hangers to ensure top bracket and bolts of drop down or standard brackets are flush with spacers. My installation required adding a couple thin washers to most of the spring hangers to enable proper seating of crossbar bracket onto the spacers.
Perfect for dropping the crossmember to accodate for my freshwater tank.

Added these with the x-factor cross members, they dropped the cross member just below the plumbing on my 2021 Montana perfectly.

Very well built, heavier than I expected. Working around the black tank dump was a little problematic. I finally cut it off and then put it back on later with a 3" rubber sleeve in case I ever needed to access that area again, that way I could remove the dump if needed for maintenance.
It was pretty easy if you are mechanically inclined. I hope this stiffens the the frame to keep too much flex. We will see.
