Hello Naveena, thanks for reaching out. Tightening the speed knob should be enough to prevent any excessive movement in the hitch. Is the knob tightening at all? Or do you have it hand tight and it is still too wobbly?

One thing you can do is have someone lift up slightly on the rack while you tighten the knob. Have them try to wiggle the rack up and side to side to see if it can be moved into a position where the speed knob can be tightened additionally. If you can get it tightened down a bit more that should help.

If you are unable to get it tighter, or the speed knob/wedge is not engaging, it may mean the speed knob and wedge assembly needs to be replaced. For that you can use part # 8880508.

Hey Naveena, did trying to lift and wiggle the rack while tightening the knob help with the wobbling? If you're still having trouble, I'm here to assist further!
