Troubleshooting Yakima Ridgeback Anti-Rattle Knob that Won't Tighten

Question:

My bike rack will not tighten up once I put it in the hitch. any suggestion or is there a place I can take it to have it check out.

The anti-rattle device/locking device of the Yakima Ridgeback bike racks like the part # Y02459 that you referenced are basically combined and if the anti-rattle is unlocked that knob is disconnected from the anti-rattle and will spin freely. So what I would do is make sure you have tried locking the knob of the rack so that it is engaged and will tighten.
