Question:
Hello, we have a 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Touring. We are looking for options to carry our 2 e-bikes. Without batteries, they weight a total of 110 lbs. I understand tongue weight of vehicle may be a limiting factor here but not sure if I am reading or understanding that correctly. Hoping someone can double check for me maybe recommend some options. Thank you!

Hey Paul, thanks for reaching out!
I checked the online manual for your 2024 CR-V and it looks like it has a max tongue weight rating of 150 lbs.
With that being said, I recommend picking up the etrailer Hitch # e98848 and using it with the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR bike rack to carry your e-Bikes.
The Transfer V2 can carry up to 60 lb bikes and it only weighs in at 37 lbs which keeps you under that 150 lb max tongue weight. The only potential hiccup is that this rack secures bikes by the wheels (which is a good thing!), and if your e-Bikes have fenders (which will be in the way of the hooks).
Do your e-Bikes have fenders?

Hey Paul, did you find a good solution for carrying your e-bikes with the CR-V? I'm curious if the Kuat Transfer V2 worked out for you, especially with the fender situation. Let me know how it went, as it could really help others in a similar spot!
