Does 2024 Honda CR-V Bumper Need to Be Cut to Install Trailer Hitch

Will this hitch fit the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport without any cutting/modification to the bumper?

Expert Reply:

Fascia trimming is required to install the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 on your 2024 Honda CR-V, but this is the case for all of the hitches that fit your vehicle. According to the instructions you'll be cutting out a notch that is 3" wide x 1.375" deep.

I'm attaching an installation video of this hitch on a 2022 CR-V as well as a clip from the instructions showing how to trim the fascia, and a photo of the finished product on the 2022 model for you to see what it will look like.
