Here are the parts I recommend for your 2020 Honda CR-V:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118741
- Universal Wiring Harness # ETBC7
- Mounting Bracket # 18136
- Tekonsha Voyager iD Brake Controller # TK26BR
I really like the etrailer hitch because the matte black finish does a better job at protecting it than the classic glossy black finish we see on the other hitches.
Then for the wiring all of those parts are the most reliable and get you everything you need to run your wiring and power your trailer brakes.
Finally for the brake controller, I really like the Voyager iD because it can be installed so that all you see is the small control knob - this leaves you plenty of leg room without worrying about bumping into the controller.
