Can Curt Hitch Install on 2019 Honda CR-V and Work with Hands Free Liftgate

Question:
I have a 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L, with power assist tailgate. Would I need to have Honda sensor relocation part with this hitch?

Hey Michael, the Curt hitch part # C13397 that fits your 2019 Honda CR-V will still work with the hands free liftgate option you have but you would need to kick to either side of the hitch opening. You wouldn't need to install a sensor relocation kit. Do you use the hands free liftgate often? We have it on a RAV4 and we always forget it's there and I don't think we've ever used it haha.

This is for my son’s Honda, not sure but I haven’t noticed him using hands free. He just got it last week, I thought it was like our 2019 RAV4 Adventure, which has button on tail gate, drivers side switch and key to open. Thank you.
