Does Curt Hitch for 2017 Honda CR-V Interfere with Handsfree Liftgate
Updated 05/11/2021 | Published 05/10/2021 >
Question:
Will the Curt C13397 interfere with the handsfree tailgate access on a 2017 Honda CRV Touring. Ive seen conflicting information as to whether it will interfere with handsfree operation. Will the handsfree sensor work out of the box after install, is it required to move the existing sensor or is additional equipment required for handsfree functionality.

We had a customer with a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring just like yours who told us that the Curt hitch part # C13397 did not interfere with their hands free liftgate at all. You would not need to move any sensors.
