I'm looking for a hitch for my 2019 CRV. I read some people have issues with the sensors of the hands free liftgate. Which hitch do you recommend that will allow me to use this feature?

We have some hitch options that are compatible with the Hands Free Tailgate feature on your 2019 Honda CR-V. That being said, the Hands-free Liftgate sensor areas may be limited to areas away from the center where hitch receiver opening is located. This means you'll typically find a "sweet spot" a few inches to either side of the 2 inch square hitch receiver.

I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397 because of its superior finish, re-enforced welds and because it's the least visible. As you can see in the photo, only the hitch receiver is visible with the main cross tube being hidden behind the fascia. I also linked you to an installation video at the bottom of the page.

To retain full functionality, Honda does offer a Power Liftgate Sensor Relocation Bracket , part number 08U59-TLA-100A, which can be sourced through your local Honda dealer.
