Question:

Hey, I have a Ski Nautique 206 that weighs nearly 3k. I heard I need winch that is about half the weight, is that true? Will the e75VV be a good choice for my needs?

Hey Darryn, the etrailer winch part # e75VV that you referenced has a capacity of 1,500 lb which isn't quite high enough unless you have roller bunks. For wood bunks with a normal winching distance the ratio of winch capacity to boat weight is 2 to 1. So if you have wood bunks you'd instead want the # e96MV.
