Review of CE Smith Boat Trailer Parts CE31013G

Today we're going to be taking a look at the C.E. Smith winch stand. This is a heavy-duty winch stand that supports a winch on your trailer's 2" tongue. It's going to feature 14 mounting holes that allow you to adjust the height of your winch for installation. The unit is constructed of a sturdy hot-dipped galvanized 12-gauge steel construction. It's very strong and durable.

It's designed to resist rust and corrosion, which is always a great idea. Great design. The product's made right here in the USA. It is designed to go over a 2" wide trailer tongue or trailer frame. Internally the gap right here measures 2" wide. Externally, edge to edge it's going to be about 2 1/4".

The overall height from very bottom to very top is 30" tall. From this point right here, which would rest on top of the trailer's frame to the top of the unit measures about 26" tall. The winch stand mounts on your trailer by clamping around the 2" wide tongue. Mounting hardware's not included. The mount holes on the unit both for mounting and for mounting the winch will accept 3/8" diameter bolts. You'll see the versatile mounting options here, so that way it'll fit a wide variety of frames from 2" to 2.5" to 3" tall, so really nice design.

Again, you can see the different pattern there, so the holes on the base provide multiple mounting options and angles, and the surface where you mount the winch is going to be slightly angled to help with winch operation. That's going to do it for today's look at the C.E. Smith winch stand.
