We are looking at this winch to raise and lower a small sailboat mast that weighs 55 lbs. Does this winch have dedicated reverse …..instead of just free wheel?

Hey Jim,
The winch # C35ZJ does not have a dedicated reverse function, just the free wheel. If you are wanting one with more of a specific reverse function I recommend # DL14830. It is going to have more capacity than your application is needing, but it is going to have that reverse functionality you are wanting.
Does that sailboat mast have a strap or cable you are intending to use, or do you need a strap to go with it?
