Question:
Hi, will this spring also work in a Dutton- Lainson Profile 2000 winch on a Shorelander trailer? It looks similar. Thanks.

Part # 4769-28 is intended for several models of Fulton winch as listed on the item's page and we have not heard of anyone using it for a Dutton-Lainson winch. Since we do offer a complete D-L winch repair kit # DL70475 that is confirmed to work on many winch models made after 1999, I suggest you use this kit.
My research suggests that your winch uses the same internal components as their winch model DL1802A, and this repair kit is a confirmed fit for that winch. All D-L winch repair parts are shown on the linked page.
